Putrajaya
is an intelligent government administration center of the
future. The journey from Kuala Lumpur to Putra Jaya takes
approximately 50 minutes via highway. Our first stop will
be the Agricultural Heritage Park. A “Living Museum” for Mango,
Rubber, Cocoa, Palm oil, durian, jackfruit herbs and etc.
A demonstration on how the rubber is processed, proceed from
the time it is tapped and churned out as fully smoked sheet
will be shown during the tour. Proceed to Putrajaya Government
Centre. The most imposing structure is Putra Mosque, standing
beside Dataran Putra and facing the lake. It incorporates
architectural elements from Turkistan, Kazakhstan and Morocco.
Other attraction is the Putra Perdana building where Prime
Minister’s office is located, Putra Bridge, Prime Minister’s
official residence, Government offices and Putrajaya’s Lake.

included. Passport will be needed (for foreigners) for visiting
Prime Minister’s Office and Official Residence premises. Proper
attire is required (Short, sleeveless shirt and slippers are

Proceed
to Kuala Selangor town in the quite hamlet of Kuantan Village,
site of one of the largest firefly colonies in the world.
It takes about 1 hour to reach the town of Kuala Selangor
from Kuala Lumpur. On arrival at Kuala Selangor, visit ‘Kota
Malawati’ formerly known as ‘Fort Altinsburg’ where you can
see the lighthouse and ruins of a fortress, Royal Mausoleum
and Colonial buildings. A bird sanctuary park at the foot
of Bukit Melawati is an ideal place for Bird-Watchers to watch
migratory birds. Also found are silvered-leaf monkeys, butterflies
and etc. Proceed for dinner at Kuala Selangor, drive past
a series of paddy fields. When nights fallen, board a boat
helmed by skilled boatman to see and admire nature’s light
show. Lifejacket will be provided.

Depart
from Kuala Lumpur at 9am; arrive in Melaka in about 2 hours.
Visit St. Peter’s Church (1710) – the oldest Christian Church
in Malaysia. Drive past the largest 17th Century Chinese Temple,
located at Bukit China. Stop at the foothill to view the Sultan’s
Well, drive through the Portuguese Settlement. Proceed to
view the famous gateway ‘Porta De Santiago’ and the ruins
of St. Paul Church lined by 17th Century Dutch tombstones.
Next on the list is ‘Red Square’ – the salmon pink Dutch administrative
building which today houses the Melaka Museum and some other
government offices. Visit Christchurch before proceeding for
lunch at a local restaurant. Take a stroll along Melaka’s
‘antique street’, which ends by the banks of the Melaka River.

The
tour will expose you to the real feeling of being in tropical
rainforest of Malaysia. The journey to the tropical rainforest
outskirts of the city will take approximately an hour. Along
the way, you will pass through typical Malay village. The
first stop is the Aboriginal Museum, which displays among
others weapon used for hunting, clothing made from barks and
traditional musical instruments. An introduction about the
place will be given before proceeds for other activities such
as Jungle Trekking. Test your skill on Blowpipe shooting or
fishing (catch and release) at the nearby fresh water pond
using bamboo rod or simply take a dip in the nearby river.
Lunch will be served at Jungle Resort.

journey takes you to the Kuala Gandah elephant sanctuary where
you can meet these gentle giants up close. It takes about
1 hour and 45 minutes to reach the sanctuary. Before we arrive,
our first stop is visiting a local aboriginal or “Orang Asli”
village where we can see the native way of life. Upon arrival
at the sanctuary, you can feed, play and ride the elephants
even as you learn more about them from their trainers.
